2 hospitalized after crash on I-15

UPDATE: 9/5/19 8:57 a.m.: Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15, milepost 97.9, north of Blackfoot at around 4:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Idaho State Police said Jacki Hogan, 47, of Idaho Falls was northbound in a 2006 Buick Lucerne. Hogan changed into the right lane and slowed. Hogan’s vehicle was struck from behind by a 2020 Peterbilt commercial vehicle pulling a trailer. It was driven by Matthew Robinson, 51, of Tucson, Arizona.

ISP said Hogan’s passengers, Velma Gregersen, 86, and Max Gregersen, 86, both of Rigby,were transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. All involved were wearing seat belts.

Max Gregersen was treated and released at the hospital.

Idaho State Police is investigating a crash on northbound Interstate 15 at milepost 98, north of Blackfoot.

The right lane of travel is blocked.
