Star Valley mom-daughter in photo contest finals

KIFI

A 4-year-old Star Valley girl and her photographer mother are in the finals of a Well Dressed Wolf “Snapped for a Cause” contest.

The online children’s boutique is featuring pictures of children as a fundraiser for the charitable foundation. According to its website, the contest benefits the Mighty Acorn Foundation, which was “established in 2013…to restore hearts, ignite dreams, and empower the futures of children across the world.”

Photographer Jordan Mitchell, who is a professional photographer for BabyDoll Photography, snapped photos of her daughter WhitLee for the contest.

They were recently selected among the top 20 finalists and in the running for a trip to Louisiana to help design a dress for the owners of Well Designed Wolf.

WhitLee received a one-of-a-kind outfit to wear for the final shoot.

The winner will be selected by public vote starting November 30. Voting ends December 7.

Watch the contest website for a chance to vote. Each vote will cost $1, with proceeds going to the foundation.
