US 26 reopens between Ririe and Swan Valley
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE: US 26 has reopened after being closed because of reduced visibility and drifting snow.
I-84 between the I-86 junction near Declo to the Utah border and Idaho 81 between Declo and Malta remain closed.
PREVIOUS STORY:
Drifting snow and reduced visibility has closed one highway in eastern Idaho.
The following highways are closed as of 4 pm :
- US 26 between Ririe and just west of Swan Valley is closed due blowing snow.
- I-84 between the I-86 junction near Declo to the Utah border.
- Idaho 81 between Declo and Malta
Reopened as of 3 pm:
Idaho 32 between Ashton and Tetonia is reopened.
Idaho 33 between Newdale and Tetonia is reopened.
US 20 between Idaho Falls and the US 26 junction is reopened, but expect snowy and icy spots along the route.
