Helicopter crash reported at Magic Valley Regional Airport

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Around 1:50 p.m. reports came in of a helicopter crash at Magic Valley Regional Airport.

It is not clear whether the helicopter was taking off or landing at the airport at the time of the crash, according to Josh Palmer, public information officer with the city of Twin Falls.

One person is being transported to the hospital and the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

Crews are investigating the crash and will remove debris as soon as the investigation is complete.

The crash is not impacting air traffic at the airport, Palmer.
