Fort Hall woman identified as victim in fatal Pocatello crash

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) — The Bannock County Coroner's office has released the identity of the local woman killed in a high-speed crash last Friday.

The driver has been identified as 26-year-old Rayne Rose-Marie Singer of Fort Hall.

Just after midnight on Friday, June 19, the Pocatello Police Department and Idaho State Police responded to a severe accident near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and East Cedar Street. According to witnesses, the driver was seen speeding down the roadway when she struck two parked vehicles, causing her car to leave the road completely.

First responders worked to extricate Singer from the wreckage. She was rushed by EMS to Portneuf Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities confirmed that Singer was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
