Idaho Falls boys’ soccer improves to 14-1 with victory over Skyline Grizzlies

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – The Idaho Falls Tigers boys' soccer team defeated the Skyline Grizzlies Friday evening 2-0 to improve to 14-1 on the season in the soccer version of the Emotion Bowl.

It took Idaho Falls just about 7 minutes to get on the board. After sustained pressure that resulted in no score for the Tigers, Conrad Archibald took the ball down the wing before cutting back inside toward the middle of the field. That's when he fired the ball toward goal, beating the keeper nearside for the first goal of the game.

The Tigers were able to put another goal past Skyline before time ran out, resulting in a 2-0 win. Skyline and Idaho Falls' girls' teams played right after the boys. That one ended in a 1-1 draw.
