Degenhart scores 21, Boise State defeats Air Force 79-48

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Tyson Degenhart’s 21 points helped Boise State defeat Air Force 79-48 on Tuesday night.

Degenhart had five rebounds for the Broncos (20-8, 11-4 Mountain West Conference). Chibuzo Agbo scored 17 points while shooting 5 for 7 (4 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line, and added six rebounds. O’Mar Stanley finished with 15 points.

The Falcons (9-18, 2-13) were led by Rytis Petraitis, who recorded 19 points and nine rebounds. Ethan Taylor added eight points and four assists for Air Force. Byron Brown also had seven points.

Boise State took the lead with 14:49 left in the first half and never looked back. Degenhart led the Broncos with nine points to help put them up 28-26 at the break. Boise State pulled away with a 17-1 run in the second half. Degenhart led the way with a team-high 12 second-half points.
