LA carjacking victim dragged, killed during police pursuit

KIFI

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say a carjacking victim was killed during a police pursuit of a homicide suspect in Los Angeles. The victim, whose name has not been released, became tangled in the vehicle’s seatbelt and was dragged for several miles during the chase Thursday. The stolen vehicle flipped after it collided with multiple police cars. The victim’s body was found three houses down from the crash in the city of Inglewood.  He was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, Joshua Reneau, was wanted in connection with a July 29 armed robbery where three people were shot — one of them fatally — in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Reseda.
