IDOC walkaway back in custody

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - A Treasure Valley Community Reentry Center resident who walked away from his job in the community is back in custody.

Acting on a tip, Idaho Department of Correction fugitive investigators found Jackie Keierleber, 40, (IDOC #49006) at 8:10 a.m. walking through a parking lot near the 190-block of Bannock St. in Boise.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Keierleber walked away from his job in the 11700-block of Franklin Road Saturday.

Keierleber’s record includes convictions in Ada County for driving under the influence and grand theft. He has been eligible for parole since July 1, 2019. His sentence was scheduled to be discharged on Dec. 31, 2027.
