IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 9/9/21: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone that provided tips and information leading to the arrest of Marvin McDonald and Hailey Terrisse. 

McDonald and Terrisse are suspects in the shooting of three people on Moonstone Dr. on August 29 and had been on the run since that day. 

After deputies obtained warrants for their arrest, Idaho Falls Bonneville County Crime Stoppers offered a $1,000 reward each for information leading to the arrest of the pair. 

McDonald and Terrisse were located in Wendover, UT Wednesday after tips and information provided by the community lead officers to their location and they were taken into custody. 

Distribution of the reward is in progress to those who provided information, and both McDonald and Terrisse are awaiting extradition back to Idaho on the outstanding warrants.

UPDATE 9/8/21: The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office reports Marvin McDonald and Hailey Terrisse, wanted on felony aggravated battery charges related to the Aug. 29 Moonstone Dr. shooting, were apprehended Wednesday in Wendover, UT.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, working with Law Enforcement in Wendover, were able to locate the pair resulting in their arrest on the outstanding warrants from the county.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank our Law Enforcement partners in Utah and the surrounding areas for their assistance, along with those who have submitted tips and information about this case. UPDATE 9/7/21: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the shooting incident on Moonstone Dr. on August 29 and have followed up on multiple tips and leads in the investigation. 

Currently, suspects Marvin McDonald and Hailey Terrisse are still wanted in connection to this incident and have active Felony warrants for their arrest. 

Idaho Falls/Bonneville County Crime Stoppers has put up a $1,000 reward on each suspect for information leading to their arrest. 

Deputies are asking anyone with information about this incident or the whereabouts of McDonald and Terrisse to contact detectives by calling dispatch at 208-529-1200, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 208-522-1983, online at www.ifcrime.org, or through the P3tips App on your mobile device.  McDonald and Terrisse should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. 


UPDATE 8/31/21 2:30 p.m. As the investigation into the Moonstone Dr. shooting on Sunday continues, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies have been able to obtain arrest warrants for 32-year-old Marvin Charles Lee McDonald and 22-year-old Hailey Denise Terrisse (AKA: Hailey Heath, Hailey McDonald). 

Both McDonald and Terrisse are wanted for three counts each of aggravated battery with intent to commit serious bodily harm in relation to the events that unfolded on Moonstone Dr. 

McDonald and Terrisse are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. 

Deputies are still seeking tips and information about this case and Idaho Falls/Bonneville County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 each for information that leads directly to the arrest of McDonald and Terrisse. 

If McDonald and Terrisse are seen, the public is asked to call Bonneville County Dispatch immediately at 208-529-1200 or 911 if it is an emergency.

UPDATE 5:45 p.m.: The investigation into Sunday’s shooting incident on Moonstone Dr. is continuing as deputies have been following up on several leads and tips generated through Crime Stoppers. 

Overnight, deputies located the Silver Jeep Cherokee associated with this case but are still searching for Marvin McDonald and Hailey Terrisse who are both persons of interest in this case. 

Several tips received thus far indicate McDonald and Terrisse have ties to the Twin Falls, Aberdeen, Blackfoot and Pocatello areas. 

Some information also indicates the pair having ties to Ogden, UT and surrounding states.  

McDonald and Terrisse should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

UPDATE 8/30/21 12:00 p.m.: The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office reports the Jeep Cherokee has been located.

Both Marvin McDonald and Hailey Terrisse are still considered persons of interest and are still being sought by Deputies.

UPDATE: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating two persons of interest in the Moonstone Dr. shooting investigation. The first subject is 32 year old Marvin Charles Lee McDonald, who may be traveling with 22 year old Hailey Denise Terrisse.  Hailey may be using the last name of Heath or McDonald, and both are known to travel in a 2002 Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with Idaho License Plate 8BJL107. 

     Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident and believe Marvin and Hailey may have information relating to the events that took place.  Anyone with information as to their whereabouts are asked to contact dispatch immediately at 208-529-1200, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 208-522-1983, online at www.ifcrime.org, or through the P3tips app on your mobile device.  Due to the nature of this incident, both Hailey and Marvin should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

ORIGIONAL STORY

A shooting in a Bonneville County neighborhood Sunday afternoon sent three people to the hospital.

Sergeant Bryan Lovell with the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office said the call came in around noon Sunday on Moonstone Drive.

The shooting left three adults injured and they were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Neighbors called 911 reporting the gunshots and one of the people involved walked down the street from the shooting.

Lovell said investigators are trying to determine what happened and who the shooter was.

Investigators are outside of a house on Moonstone as yellow police tape blocks off a portion of the street.
