POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 10/19/21: Bannock County is releasing more information into the moments after Jesse Leigh is believed to have shot two people.

The probable cause affidavit released Tuesday afternoon says a neighbor was the first to respond.

That neighbor told dispatch he heard six shots and saw Leigh run down Phoenix Drive in Pocatello.

He then found 41-year-old Jennifer Leigh dead inside the trailer.

Shortly after, police also found the body of 21-year-old Timothy Hunt.

Leigh was later arrested at his mom's house in Chubbuck.

He had blood on his right jacket sleeve.

Officers took a 9 millimeter handgun from him.

It was cocked with a round in the chamber and the safety was off.

They also noted there were only seven rounds in an 18 round magazine.

At one point a detective said Leigh asked, "Are they dead?" and went on to say that he made a mistake.

He was booked into the Bannock County Jail.

He is now charged with two counts of manslaughter and the use of a deadly weapon.

His bond is set at $1 million.

Leigh's mom told detectives he and Jennifer were recently estranged.

At the time of their deaths, Jennifer had been living with Hunt.
