3 arrests made in car vandalism wave

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 5/11/23: The Idaho Falls Police Department says three arrests have been made in a recent string of vandalism. 

Officers say they received more than two dozen reports of car windows being broken. 

It appeared they were shot out with a  BB gun.

The arrests included one adult, who is being charged with felony malicious injury to property, and two juveniles.

Charges against them are still pending.


ORIGINAL: A string of vandalism hit Idaho Falls overnight on Wednesday.

The Idaho Falls Police Department has recorded about two dozen reports of broken car windows. The windows appear to have been shot out with a BB gun.

Idaho Falls Police say they have identified some of the individuals responsible, and the investigation is moving forward.
