Water repair lets students out early at Hillcrest, Sandcreek schools

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - Students were able to go home early at Hillcrest High School and Sandcreek Middle School Bonneville because the city crews could fix water line nearby.

The district reported Hillcrest would dismiss at 2:30 p.m., and parents could pick kids up at Sandcreek if they wish. Buses would run at 3:30 p.m.

City crews also closed a portion of Western Ave. between Rawson Street and Owen Street to repair the mainline.

The water was restored and school is expected to continue on Thursday.
