Rain won’t dampen the action at Idaho’s oldest rodeo

KIFI

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - Idaho's oldest rodeo and the Bonneville County fair are in full swing amid this week's light drizzles and heavy rain.

City of Idaho Falls PIO Eric Grossarth says the crews have prepared the ground in anticipation of the weather for two weeks ahead of the event.

Local News 8 Weather forecaster Jeff Roper says to expect light showers to heavy rains in the evening hours of Friday august 4th. But we can expect better weather heading into Saturday.

As for Friday's show, he says to be prepared for some sloppy, slushy weather and suggests spectators bring a light jacket to the rodeo.
