Fire destroys chicken coop, kills chickens

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - More than a dozen chickens are dead and a family's chicken coop was destroyed by a fire Tuesday night in Idaho Falls.    

The Idaho Falls Fire Department responded to the call around 10:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of 105 North.

Firefighters found a 30 square foot chicken coop on fire and were able to keep the fire contained to the coop.

No individuals were injured.

They believe it was caused by a heating source inside the coop.
