Man arrested on felony drug charges

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - A 28-year-old Bonneville County man is behind bars after a felony drug arrest Monday.

Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies were called to assist Idaho State Probation and Parole Officers after a man was found in possession of methamphetamine.

While visiting 28-year-old probationer Johnnie Junior Huddleston at his residence on N. 5th E. in Bonneville County, officers located the methamphetamine on his person and called for a deputy to assist.

The methamphetamine was turned over to the deputy upon arrival which was later found to weigh just more than 24 grams. When asked, Huddleston admitted to the deputy the substance belonged to him.

No other illegal substances or contraband was located at that time, and Huddleston was transported to the Bonneville County Jail.

Huddleston was booked on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.
