1 hospitalized after crash on I-15

INKOM, Idaho (KIFI) - A 55-year-old Pocatello resident was hospitalized Monday morning after a crash on Interstate 15 near milepost 57, near Inkom.

According to Idaho State Police, the single vehicle crash occurred around 10:20 a.m.

ISP reports 55-year-old Valerie Woolsey of Pocatello was driving northbound in a 2013 Audi Q5 when Woolsey attempted a lane change and went off the right shoulder where the vehicle overturned.

A ground ambulance transported Woolsey to Portneuf Medical Center.

The right lane was blocked by emergency vehicles for approximately one hour and twenty minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.

Woolsey was wearing a seatbelt.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
