Degraded Air Quality and Burn Ban for Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory to notify residents of Franklin County of degraded air quality.

The current Air Quality Index is Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.

Open burning is currently prohibited.

The DEQ forecasts the Air Quality Index will be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups for the next few days.

Officials plan to issue an update on Saturday.
