Injury crash in intersection of Fillmore Street and Poleline Road in Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Police are investigating a collision which occurred at 3:09 p.m. on Friday at Fillmore Street and Poleline Road, in Twin Falls County.

According to Idaho State Police, a 65-year-old Rupert man was traveling eastbound on pole line in a 2000 Freightliner semi with a single trailer. A 66-year-old-man and a 63-year-old woman passenger, both from Pleasant Grove, Utah, was traveling westbound in a 2019 Chevy Silverado.

The Chevy was making a U-turn, when the Freightliner failed to stop for the traffic control device and collided in the intersection, where the trailer overturned.

The drivers of both vehicles were transported via ground ambulance and the passenger of the Chevy was transported via air ambulance to a local hospital.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

The intersection was blocked for 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Twin Falls Police Department, Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office, Idaho Transportation Department, and Twin Falls Street Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
