Romaine’s opens up new location in Ammon

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - Romaine's Mattress King store has officially opened up its new location with a ribbon cutting on Friday morning. They are now located in Ammon just off the intersection of 25th Street and John Adams Parkway.

Romaine's has been in business back to the late 1950's. At that time, Romaine and her husband opened the store selling various items. They settled on mattresses a couple of years later and it has stuck ever since.

Their previous location was in Idaho Falls just off of Yellowstone Highway. Romaine's is trying to sell that location away.

The building for Romaine's needed an upgrade. They had been in the same location for their entire existence since the 1950's.

While the size wasn't a direct motivation for them to move, their new location will allow them for possible future expansion. In fact their new location is only just a few acres bigger.
