Successful motorcycle giveaway honoring veterans
FORT HALL, Idaho (KIFI) – The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel announced the success of the recent Veterans Day Powwow on Nov. 11, 2023.
The event, aimed at honoring our nation's veterans, concluded with the presentation of two brand-new motorcycles to two deserving veterans.
In a heartwarming celebration of service and sacrifice, the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel partnered with Eagle Rock Indian Motorcycle and SignifyGraphics.com to gift a custom-wrapped motorcycle to two veterans in recognition of their dedication to our country.
The lucky recipients of the motorcycle, Theron Spoonhunter & Delphina Tsosie expressed profound appreciation for the gesture, emphasizing the significance of recognizing veterans for their contributions beyond their years of service. Both winners of the motorcycles reside outside of Idaho, demonstrating the fact the cultural atmosphere of the powwow invites people from many tribes and the surrounding communities to come together and express gratitude and support for those who have served.
Spoonhunter said he was still in shock when he picked up the prize the Thursday after, and Tsosie took her gift home this past Sunday.
