Woman hospitalized after crash near St. Anthony

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (KIFI) - A 66-year-old St. Anthony woman was hospitalized after a vehicle collision Tuesday at approximately 4:32 p.m. on US 20 at milepost 348 north of St. Anthony.

According to Idaho State Police, the woman was traveling South on 2600 East, in a Kia Sorento, and a 64-year-old Billings, Mont. man was traveling eastbound on US 20 in a Kenworth Tractor.

The driver of the Kia Sorento failed to yield to the stop sign and the vehicles collided.

The driver of the Kia Sorento was not wearing a seat belt and was transported via ground ambulance to the local hospital. The driver of the Kenworth was wearing a seat belt and was not transported.

The southbound lane of US 20 and the block of 2600 East was blocked for approximately three hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
