67th St. Anthony Fisherman’s Breakfast

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (KIFI) - In St. Anthony, the Memorial Day weekend also marks the start of the summer fishing season with the annual Fisherman's Breakfast at Clyde Keefer Memorial Park.

The tradition dates back to 1955.

The free breakfast starts at 6 a.m. and will go until about 1 p.m.

According to legend, the breakfast started as a way to show people how friendly St. Anthony is and that it is the place to stop for supplies when heading into the popular fishing country of Fremont County.

According to the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce, they served nearly 5,000 people last year.
