Four snowmobilers safely rescued after getting stuck

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (KIFI)—Four snowmobilers were rescued after becoming stuck in Island Park.

Fremont County Search and Rescue started searching for the snowmobiles at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 near Tygee Creek, just east of Two Top Mountain.

Search and Rescue said the snowmobilers had been stranded for approximately five hours, enduring the cold and wet conditions.

Search and Rescue were able to locate the snowmobilers at approximately 11:15 pm on Saturday. They were all safely escorted out one at a time, they said.
