Skier rescued from avalanche
GRAND TARGHEE (KIFI/KIDK) - Teton County Search and Rescue had its first avalanche burial call-out of the season Thursday afternoon.
Officials said a lone skier was caught in a slide while digging a pit in the Grand Targhee backcountry.Â
According to search and rescue, ski patrol handled the incident, and the person survived.
