Fire burns out of control into railroad bridge
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI)-A controlled burn near the intersection of 25th East and 105th North got out of control at around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
The Idaho Falls Fire Department said someone was trying to burn weeds on a ditch bank, but the fire got away in high winds and ignited railroad ties on a nearby railroad bridge.
Crews were on the scene until about 7:15 p.m. Railroad officials are evaluating the damage.
