3 things to do this weekend – May 26, 2023
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here are some events going on in your local neighborhood this weekend:
1. A thousand flags will be on display at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls for the annual Field of Honor. Posted flags honor serving military, veterans, first responders and fallen servicemen and women, who have become our heroes. You can visit the Field of Honor tomorrow through Monday.
2. "Old West Days" continue in Jackson this weekend. You can check out the mountain man rendezvous from 8 am to 5 pm at the Teton County Fairgrounds. The "Best of the West Parade" begins at 10 am tomorrow. On Sunday, the Million Dollar Music Fest starts at 4 pm featuring Country music star Jon Pardi. And on Monday, there will be a number of memorial day ceremonies at various cemeteries to honor our fallen veterans.
3. Baseball fans can see the Idaho Falls Chukars in action at Melaleuca Field this weekend. Their first home opener is tonight at 7:05 pm. against the Boise Hawks. The Chukars also play tomorrow at 7:05 pm and Sunday at 2 pm.
