Boil advisory issued for Taylor Mountain Water System after line break

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Falls Water has issued a boil advisory for the Taylor Mountain Water System because of a water line break late Monday night.

The water company had to shut off the water in order to repair the line causing the pressure to fall below 20 psi. As a precaution, the company issued a boil advisory until water samples show no contaminants. Sample results will take 24 to 48 hours to complete.

The water break has been fixed and pressure has been restored and testing is being done to make sure water is safe.
