(AP) — In a story published October 25, 2022, about the resignation of the Richmond, Virginia, police department, The Associated Press erroneously reported that he previously led the Charlotte-Mecklenburg, North Carolina, police department. He is a former deputy chief in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Department.
