As Biden rallies for abortion rights, conservatives a mile away are pushing a 15-week national ban

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is warning that Republicans seeking a nationwide ban on abortion won’t stop there. He is urging supporters to channel their outrage into mobilizing votes for Democrats in 2024. Just a mile from where Biden rallied reproductive rights supporters on the eve of the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that overturned federal abortion protections, the Faith & Freedom Coalition was holding its annual conference. Vice President Mike Pence urged his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination to support a 15-week federal abortion ban — at minimum.
