POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - ISU Credit Union added an additional $10,000 to its donation to the Pocatello-Chubbuck School District Festival of Trees Thursday.

The credit union announced Tuesday it would increase its gift to the D25 Education Foundation this year in honor of its 10-year sponsorship anniversary.

"ISU Credit Union is deeply devoted to the success of our local schools. Helping provide teachers with the tools for preparing students to excel is one of the primary ideals of ISU Credit Union. We can't thank Courtney Fisher and PCSD 25 enough for their tireless efforts to ensure this even successfully raises the much-needed funds for our students' futures," said Doug Chambers.

Proceeds from the Festival of Trees have funded the purchase and installation of interactive whiteboard technology, as well as technology for science, math, music, drama and other programs. Funds raised are also allocated for teachers to obtain instructional enhancements that positively impact their learners through a competitive grant process.
