Prepare to Roar Campaign kicks off Monday
POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) – Following a commitment of nearly $200,000 in matching gifts and unlockable challenge dollars, Idaho State Athletics will kick off its third annual Prepare to Roar campaign on Monday, Aug. 22.
"These gift matching opportunities continue to be pivotal for our department and I could not be more grateful for the generosity demonstrated by these loyal fans and benefactors," Director of Athletics Pauline Thiros said. "In addition to really creating excitement as we get ready for our third annual Prepare to Roar campaign, these gifts allow donors at every level to get involved and multiply the impact of their gifts.”
Last fall, the effort saw a tremendous showing of support from over 225 alumni and supporters who combined to raise more than $600,000 in support of nutrition, medical care, academic support, facility enhancements and more.
"The Prepare To Roar effort last year, in just its second year, produced tremendous support for our student-athletes as they strive to achieve their highest level of academic and athletic success," Associate Athletic Director for Development Crew Keller said. "The generosity of our alumni, parents, and program supporters exemplifies the incredible culture of Bengal athletics. We are looking forward to another successful campaign here in 2022.”
