Abandoned Pocatello trail back in use
POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - A trail that was abandoned more than a decade ago is ready and waiting for you to use it.
City employee Brett Lopez stumbled upon the trail and decided it needed to be used again, so Lopez and the Parks Department spent the next two days clearing out the overgrown brush and creating a dirt trail to connect the now Zoo Idaho Connection Trail to the AMI Greenway Trail.
The path is paved, has four benches and has nature observation loops along with a breathtaking view at the end.
If you want to find the trail, walk down the AMI trail and you will see a dirt path on your right. This path will take you to the once-abandoned trail.
