13th Annual Gate City Brewfest Saturday

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - A fan favorite is making its return to Pocatello Saturday.

The 13th Annual Gate City Brewfest is Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Historic Downtown Pocatello.

Local and regional brewers will showcase more than 80 different brews and other drinks.

Despite the closure of the Center Street Underpass, the pedestrian walkway at the underpass will be available to move between the east and west sides of downtown.

"Ticket holders get to come down and experience 17 locations in Downtown Pocatello that maybe they haven't visited before," Historic Downtown Pocatello executive director Stephanie Palagi said. "It's a great opportunity for our businesses to have exposure. It's an economic day, of course, because there's a lot of money being spent on additional food and other beverages and maybe even some shopping along the way. And then it is also a tourism event. So we have people who are coming from out of state and some of them come every year to experience our local Brewfest."

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the event.

You can get them at the Historic Downtown Pocatello Office, the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce and the Center Street Clubhouse.
