BYU-Idaho’s campus Christmas tree lighting

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI) - The holiday season is opening with tree lighting ceremonies across eastern Idaho and students at a local university are planning one Thursday night. 

Students are preparing for their annual christmas tree lighting at the Taylor Quad on Brigham Young University Idaho's campus.

The Taylor steeple is surrounded by decorative trees that have been wrapped with holidays lights which are set to come on at 6 p.m.

Singers are also set to will perform live christmas music.

After the tree lighting ceremony, students can also enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides by the Manwaring Center.
