Rigby couple hospitalized after US 20 crash

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK)-A Rigby couple was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center at around 6:05 p.m. Thursday after their van was struck from behind on U.S. 20.

Idaho State Police said Franciso Erives, 68, of Rigby was driving east bound in a 2003 Chevrolet Astro van near milepost 317, just south of the County Line Road exit.

Savannah Crane, 19, of Sugar City was driving a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. She was also eastbound and struck Erives' vehicle. The crash forced the van off the road, through a fence, and into a ditch.

Erives and his passenger, Maria Erives, 71, also of Rigby, were hospitalized.

All of those involved were wering seat belts.
