Missing teen found

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 9/6/22: The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office reports Merrick Cottrell has been located and returned safely home. 


ORIGINAL: Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies still need your help in finding runaway juvenile Merrick Cottrell.

The 15-year-old was last seen at his Ammon residence around midnight on July 14th and may have packed his clothes with him.

Merrick is described as being 5’ 10” tall, 200 pounds, with dark hair and possibly wearing a black bat with an American Flag.

Deputies said indications show Merrick left on his own and believe friends and other acquaintances may be assisting him.
