Coroner identifies 4 killed in Bannock County crash

BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 9/22/22: The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with Fort Hall Police and Idaho State Police, has confirmed the identity of the deceased following the two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Reservation Road and Rio Vista Road in Bannock County on Wednesday.

44-year-old Delight Moemberg of Bannock County, 63-year-old Deborah Pabawena of Bannock County, 37-year-old Feadem Fidim of Bannock County and 28-year-old Philip Ponzo of Bannock County have been identified.

Next of kin has been notified.

The incident remains under investigation by Fort Hall Police.

“My heart goes out to all those who were affected by this incident and my condolences to the families impacted,” Coroner Torey Danner said.


ORIGINAL: A wreck in Bannock County Wednesday night.

It's near the intersection of Rio Vista and Reservation roads. It happened around 6:45 p.m.

Rio Vista was closed in that area.

On scene, you could see at least two vehicles involved. One of them was a large farm truck, which was tipped on it's side. The other vehicle was a smaller car.

The road could be closed for several hours.
