3 things to know this morning – November 28, 2023

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Here's what you should know to start your Tuesday.

1. The results for a contested Idaho Falls School Board election are in. The recount confirmed again that challenger Shay Ricks won the election by a single vote against incumbent Elizabeth Cogliatti earlier this month. Cogliati will stay in office until January, then Ricks will officially take the seat.

2. At least one person is recovering after a multi-vehicle pile-up in Pocatello. Fortunately, there weren't any fatalities at the scene. Idaho State Police says low visibility played a pivotal role in the accident.

3. In addition to the fog, we are under an air stagnation advisory this morning. This is when there is a build up of air pollution or smoke close to the ground. This will be in effect until Thursday.
