Gas leak closes part of Anderson Street in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) — First responders are on the scene of a gas leak near the intersection of Boulevard and Anderson Street in Idaho Falls Tuesday evening.

According to the Idaho Falls Police Department, Anderson Street is closed to all traffic between Boulevard and Holmes Avenue while crews respond to the leak.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

IFPD said additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
