JACKSON, Wyo. (KIFI/KIDK) - Star Valley commuters to the Jackson Hole area will have another option beginning Monday, December 2.

START Bus has announced a service expansion to include a fourth commuter run for Star Valley.

"Throughout the year, activities occur within our community that can affect our transit system – traffic patterns, economic factors, ridership and customer feedback," said START Bus Director Darren Brugmann. "We respond by considering and implementing changes to our bus system that will potentially help improve our service and meet the needs of the community."

The bus will depart Etna at 5:30 a.m., 6:25 a.m., 6:50 a.m., and 7:20 a.m. The bus will leave Jackson at 4:39 p.m., 5:00 pm, 5:30 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.

Beginning Saturday, November 30, START will move to its winter season schedule. The winter schedule will continue through Sunday, April 12. The winter schedule change will also bring an additional run to and from Star Valley, increased service to and from Teton Village and later Town Shuttle service each day.
