Teton County to host 2 open houses on planning for Greater Stilsonsite

JACKSON, Wyo. (KIFI) – Teton County, in coordination with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), is hosting two open houses next week to provide information and to gather feedback from the public on potential future uses for the Greater Stilson site in Wilson.

The open houses will be held on Monday, November 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole located at 1251 S. Park Loop Road in Jackson, and on Tuesday, November 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Wilson Elementary School located at 5200 HHR Ranch Road in Wilson.

Staff from Teton County and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will be available to answer questions and provide information related to the greater Stilson site, including but not limited to, existing conditions, ownership, and allowances on the site, the BUILD Transit Center, wildlife crossings and movement, proposed Parks and Recreation amenities, and proposed JHMR amenities. Public feedback gathered during this process will be used to identify community priorities and inform the development of conceptual plans for the overall site.

The public is encouraged to participate in a survey and share feedback on proposals at the open house or online via Teton County’s engagement site at engagetetoncountywy.com. The survey opens on Monday, Nov. 6 and closes on Friday, Dec. 8 at 5:00 p.m.
