Fee schedule transition at Teton County Recreation Center

Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center

JACKSON, Wyo. (KIFI) – On June 5, 2023, the Teton County Board of County Commissioners and the Jackson Town Council adopted a new Community Recreation Center fee schedule in anticipation of the expanded facility.

As part of the fee schedule adoption, current facility rental rate increases will take effect on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, and facility admissions and new facility rental rates will take effect upon expansion opening (estimated May 2024).

Fees are set at a comparable market rate for public facilities, and patrons will have the opportunity for a resident discount rate with proof of residency within 70 miles of the Town of Jackson.

To provide a reasonable and equitable transition, annual, monthly, and punch passes purchased prior to June 5, 2023, will be honored through their set expiration date. Annual, monthly and punch passes purchased after June 5, 2023, will remain in effect until facility expansion is open (estimated May 2024). Upon opening of the expanded facility, current balances will be credited to the client towards the new fee rate. For example, a 10-punch pass purchased at $34 with 5 punches remaining will be valued at $17 and may be applied to the purchase of a new 10-punch pass valued at $100. Therefore, the new 10-punch pass would cost $83.

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, access to and use of the therapy pool will be modified. Patrons wishing to utilize the therapy pool through day-use fees, punch passes, or monthly/annual memberships can do so Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or on weekends in a drop-in shared capacity. Patrons wishing to reserve the therapy pool for exclusive personal use can do so at a resident discount rate of $36/hour Adult or $30/hour resident Active Ager 65+, or the market rate of $50/hour adult or $40/hour active ager 65+ Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reservations will only be accepted for a period of two weeks at a time. Exclusive use reservations for commercial clients with therapists will be second priority after personal patron use and will be at the market hourly rate of $50/hour adult or $40/hour active ager 65+. Commercial reservation requests will be accepted 24 hours after the start of a new two-week reservation request session. Resident discounts do not apply to commercial use.

Non-profit clubs, organizations, or groups whose programs begin prior to Jan. 2, 2024, can utilize current rentals rates for the entirety of the program session. New session programs starting after Jan. 2, 2024, will be at the updated rental rates and terms of conditions.
