Post election audit bill advances

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - In Boise, the Senate State Affairs Committee has approved a bill for audits of certain elections.

If passed and signed into law, the bill would require the Idaho Secretary of State to conduct random post-election audits following general and primary elections.

Sponsors of the bill say the audits would increase public confidence in election results.
