Idaho lawmakers approve giving University of Idaho $1 million to pay for security after murders

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho House has passed a bill to give the University of Idaho an extra $1 million. 

The money is meant to be used by the university to cover unexpected costs for increased security following the tragic murders of four students late last year.

The bill now goes to the senate for consideration.
