Changes to Idaho code language proposed
BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - Changes in terminology for words like fetus and stillborn could be coming to Idaho codes.
State Representative Julianne Young of Blackfoot introduced House Bill 381 in the House State Affairs Committee Tuesday.
The bill would change all mentions of the word fetus to preborn child in Idaho code.
It would also change the term stillborn fetus to stillborn child.
The House State Affairs Committee voted unanimously to introduce the bill.
