Idaho House members delay bills to arm school teachers

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - House Representatives have put on hold a bill that would give school teachers a right to carry guns while at school.

The bill was scheduled for  a vote Tuesday, but House members voted instead to keep it on the calendar for now.

They are hoping to avoid amendments once it crosses over to the senate chambers.

Last week, the House State Affairs Committee voted along party lines to give House Bill 415 the green light.
