Sugar-Salem repeats as 3A state champs

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - For the second straight season, Sugar-Salem ends its season with a victory over Homedale. The Diggers beat the Trojans 48-14 in the 3A state title game to win back to back championships.

Last year, the Diggers beat Homedale 30-22 to win the school's first state football championship. Sugar-Salem is 20-2 during their two title runs.
