Idaho State falls to UCSB in overtime
POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - UC Santa Barbara carried a regulation ending run into overtime to beat Idaho State 74-68 Monday night. Bengals lead by eight with 1:35 left in the second half. The Gauchos went on an 8-0 run to force overtime. They then started to the extra period with a 6-0 run.
Tarik Cool lead the Bengals with 21 points. Chier Maker added 17 points. Malik Porter contributed 11 points. Austin Smellie came off the bench to put up 10 points.
Idaho State (3-5) travels to Pacific on Saturday. That will wrap up the non-conference schedule. Big Sky play begins December 28 at home against Idaho.
