Bayern’s Kimmich out with lung problem after COVID infection

MUNICH (AP) — Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich says he doesn’t expect to play until next month because of the effects of a coronavirus infection. Kimmich tested positive for the virus last month and his isolation period ended Wednesday. He says “slight infiltrations” in the lungs are stopping him from returning to full training. He expects to return to action in January.
